Transitional Living Programs

K&D (ltd.) Emerge Program is the architecture in which all other programs are delivered. In order to be a good fit for this program an individual must be amenable to its basic fundamentals, which is to receive person-centered support that develops independent living skills for the purpose of successfully emerging in the community. 

The program offers a wide variety vocational activities that focus on the acquisition of skills to promote increased independence in the community and a successful through our Emerge Program. This is all accomplished through a person-centered plan that links   the participant to a suitable living situation that will identify transitional programs appropriate to the individuals' current support needs. We like to describe it as if the person we are supporting is in control of the path they take and our support team are there to provide encouragement along the way. 

 Our Enhancing Employability Program has been designed to help program Participants prepare to enter the workforce as well as aid in obtaining employment through employers that K&D has connected with. From Resume development to interviewing, you will learn what is needed to successfully enter the workforce and maintain steady employment. 

This program is offered to ALL participants in all streams of support.
